Crossing corners

Crossing corners installation

A site-specific installation for the group exhibition, ‘Uncharted stories’ at the public gallery space, Triangle Art Gallery, at Chelsea College of Art, is made in response to the call for work undertaken by the artist while researching a PhD and in reflection upon the artists interest in cross cultural visual expression. The work is to be made with paper both European and Asian and the visual narrative in the work is also draw from various cross cultural visual experiences. A British artist who studied in London and works in Beijing, the work draws upon memories of places both recent and earlier from a long held interest in landscape particularly those that are changing fast. This paper work employing collage, ink drawing and printmaking navigated across the 90 degree angle of the gallery.

Later the work was systematically cut up. For images see here
